Map & Directions

Second Use is located about 5 miles south of downtown Seattle, directly behind the City of Seattle Transfer Station, in the South Park neighborhood. We can be tricky to find, so please print out the directions and map. If you get lost, just give us a call: 206-763-6929.

 

Important Travel Updates  

South Park Bridge

The South Park Bridge will close permanently on Wed, June 30th, 2010.  If you normally use this bridge to travel to South Park or to Second Use, you will now need to travel via the 1st Ave S Bridge.  See directions below.

 

 

Map & DirectionsFrom Downtown Seattle via Hwy 99

  • Follow 99 South over the 1st Ave S Bridge
  • Immediately after crossing the bridge, take the first exit on right
  • You will then take a series of rights, until you have passed back under the 1st Ave S Bridge
  • Go through the 1st stoplight (Holden Street)
  • Take the next exit on the right toward South Park and S Kenyon Street
  • Take a right at the end of exit ramp
  • Take an immediate left onto 2nd Ave S (it looks more like a parking lot)
  • Second Use is the last warehouse on the right

Directions from Downtown Seattle via I-5 South

  • Follow I-5 south
  • Take the Michigan/Corson exit
  • Turn Right at first light onto Michigan
  • Follow Michigan through all lights and continue onto 1st Ave S Bridge
  • Immediately after crossing the bridge, take the first exit on right
  • You will then take a series of rights, until you have passed back under the 1st Ave S Bridge
  • Go through the 1st stoplight (Holden Street).
  • Take the next exit on the right toward South Park and S Kenyon Street
  • Take a right at the end of exit ramp

  • Second Use is the last warehouse on the right

Directions from Tacoma / Olympia

  • Follow I-5 North
  • Take the exit for Hwy 518 West toward Burien (it’s the same exit as for the airport)
  • Take the exit for Hwy 509 North toward Seattle
  • Take the Cloverdale exit and turn right at the end of the exit ramp
  • Take a left at the first stoplight onto 5th Ave S
  • Travel 1/2 mile on 5th Ave S (you will pass the entrance to the Transfer Station and the road will curve to the left)
  • Turn left onto 2nd Ave S (it looks more like a parking lot)
  • Second Use is the last warehouse on the right
