How to: Install Doors

Installing salvaged doors can add character and function to any home, but it can also prove to be a tricky task. This popular workshop will provide you with the tools and resources that you need to successfully install interior and exterior doors. The discussion will cover how to:
· Shop for and choose the right door for your space
· Install a door into an existing jamb and
· Install a pre-hung door
The workshop will also cover other installation tips such as resources for hanging a door and managing lead-based paint concerns. Please note that this workshop will not cover bi-fold or double-door installation.
Dave LaFrance and Ken Tallman, from Pacific Iron’s Building Materials, will lead this workshop.
