Seven Gables Grand Couch

$ 1200.00

Stunning couch that was made in england in the 1800s and shipped over to be used at The Seven Gables Threatre in the university district, before it burnt down. Luckily this beauty was removed before the fire. This is truely an amazing piece, made of horse hair and beautiful velvet. There is detailed wood carving and marble accents that you have to see in person. Designed to go up against the wall and give the bulit in look. This piece breaks down easily and all the parts are suprisingly light weight. The parts fit together nicely, the craftmanship is something to be admired. Come take a look at part of Seattle's history. The Seven Gables theatre was opened in 1976 and often showed flicks found nowhere else in Seattle, from indies to docs to foreign language films. If you're like us and miss the warm vintage vibe this theatre had, why not add a little piece of it to your home.
