If you're looking for your outdoor post lighting to make a statement, this pair of municipal grade lanterns might be just the thing for you. They're not antiques, but have some weight to them to go along with a relatively ornate look. No structural damage is noted. The amberish lenses are plastic or polycarbonate like material, but do look like glass. Mount on a 3 1/2" diameter post. The top is hinged and opens to access the bulb compartment. They currently house a ballast and sodium halide bulb, which I believe would work, but I'd recommend just rewiring them with a standard, Type A bulb socket and put in the LED bulb of your choice.
