Mid-Century Chinoiserie Panels (4)

Set of four vintage 1950s hand painted black lacquer wall panels. Looks like Japanese influenced Chinese figures & landscape (I am no expert by any means, by the way). Each figure is carved from what appears to be nacre / mother of pearl, soapstone, or a combination of the two. This set has some damage to the lacquer (price reflects). Very cool. Dimensions listed below are for a single panel.
