Locally milled & kiln dried, reclaimed, double-live edge cut of old growth fir that was formerly submerged in local saltwaters & used in the Pacific Northwest timber transport trade. Fantastic stock for all sorts of projects. Traces of life long gone can seen here, from the beautiful channels left behind by the seafaring teredo clam to the tiny punctuations of the gribbles who settle in afterward - the handiwork of annelids, mollusks and arthropods have all been made visible. Dimensions are approximate; width will vary with the natural contours of the wood. Sanded to 300 grit on two sides.
