Custom made by light artist Ken Krumpos. Good news: This orbed butterfly is amazing when lit up. Bad news: It no longer lights up due to electrical issues we are unequipped to fix in house. It needs to be completely rewired. Could be an easy project if you know what you're doing. The neon is in flawless condition and is well worth fixing. It's got a few metal petals that need to be reattached. It received the highest award in the professional division at the Western Washington Fair in 1973. From there it was exhibited in an exclusive apartment created for local radio personality, Bashful Bobby Wooten, in the observation deck of the space needle for a period of six months. Perfectly pairs with Dolly Parton's song "Love is like a butterfly". Designed to be laying down. NOTE: Last photo is what it looked like when it was functional.
