Absolutely gorgeous antique, figural, cast brass knobset featuring a woman's face in deep relief. The accompanying transom style escutcheons also feature a woman's face flanked by two griffons and lots of curvilinear ornamentation bordered by egg and dart patterning. This set is in very good condition, includes two knobs, two escutcheons, set screws (which probably aren't original, but are currently holding o.k.), spindle, and retains its original and nicely aged finish. The smaller interior escutcheon with thumb turn for deadbolt is 2 7/8" wide x 10 1/4" tall.
