This Dremel Moto-Lathe Model 700, Series 1 is a mini lathe and is perfect for turning tiny spindles and bowl shapes for miniatures and doll furniture. If you want to dip your toes into lathe carving, this is a fun way to start. Even comes with a handful of anker template patterns! Can work up to 6" long pieces and 1 1/2" in diameter in wood, plastic, and soft metals. Tested in house and appears functional. Sold for $200 on ebay.
