This wildly cool looking display case was salvaged from a local museum, where it once housed all kinds of precious goodies. At its center is a massive clear acrylic orb, supported by a hearty black steel frame that feels a little reminiscent of the rings around a planet. Not only is this well constructed and cool looking, there is a built-in light that will tastefully yet dramatically illuminate whatever you choose to put within it. It could make an excellent terrarium if not a display case. Otherwise, take it apart and use the acrylic, steel, and lighting elsewhere.
