Lou Wilson was a prolific artist in the Pacific Northwest who specialized in Batik style paintings and we have an original of hers here! Batik is a dyeing technique which involves making a pattern on a waxed cloth then removing the wax after it's been dyed to reveal the pattern. Here we have a hieroglyphic style eagle on an abstract background. The frame is completely loose from the painting and we have held it together with tape so it will need to be reattached to the frame, but overall this is a unique piece from a local artist!
