Giant English Elm Live Edge Slab
$ 1400.00
Locally milled and kiln dried. This giant slab came from a humongous English Elm tree that was taken down in Capital Hill over ten years ago and has been slowly curing since then. It was recently put into a kin to ensure any critters were nuked. It has significant checking down the center, but is still one solid slab. Is very flat for an unsurfaced slab, would lose very little thickness in leveling. Would be a great candidate for some resin river work. Tapers in width from 41" to 46" Has a chunk of metal 17" in on the narrow end, can be drilled out or just shorten the slab down to 10ft long.
