I believe this oak display cabinet has been nicely refinished. The front just looks newer than what the back shows, which is a sturdy, well made, solid wood cabinet with flat head screws. I'd say it's an antique. Has a nice design. It's currently upside down. Probably lived atop a buffet at one point in its life. The legs use dowel pins to stay in place using gravity when on a counter or buffet top, but I'd think you could more permanently secure them to make a super cute small hutch.
