Second Use employees and management grabbed some food, music and a pingpong table on Friday, to celebrate the announcement of the new store. They toured the upstairs office space and the other compartments of the former Alaskan Copper building, but most of the time was spent in the large warehouse, just taking it in. One guest remarked how the space looked like a roller skating rink. Then, Second Use employees showed off just how big the floor is by starting a game of frisbee. As excited as everyone is to fill the space with salvaged materials, it will be hard to give up all that play room!
