Many contractors will tell you that tiling can be a great beginner’s project. There is a low risk of danger or long-term damage to a home, if it’s a basic tile job, and it’s done correctly. Still, for a lasting and beautiful tile job, there are many rules to follow. Join Second Use for this free workshop June 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. You will learn about mastic, grout, sealant, tile and tools. There will be a basic demonstration of putting down tile, so you can see a tile project in action. It will put you on good footing, no pun intended, for your next tile job.
The workshop is free, but an RSVP is required. Please contact Elena Velkov at 206-763-6929x110 or [email protected] to reserve a spot. When you get in touch, please include the full name, e-mail address and phone number for each participant. You will receive an e-mail back, confirming your spot.
