“I am restoring my mountain cabin which was build in 1959. For the powder room, I was envisioning something rustic (not powder-ish).
I was having a hard time deciding on the vanity, and decided to let the medicine cabinet take the lead in the evolution of the room.
I found the solid wood cabinet door with the beveled glass at Second Use, had a cabinet build into the wall to accommodate, added distressed trim, and I was on my way! After the vanity and lighting was complete, I rummaged through the bins of pulls at Second Use, and found these gorgeous kind of Brutalist style pulls and then distressed them to add rust/patina. I am thrilled with the result and love the room.
In addition to the vanity door and pulls, the sink and light fixture consist of repurposed/recycled materials.”
