While our Tacoma birthday party has been canceled, we are still offering 20% off all inventory at our Tacoma location this Saturday, 3/21. There will be no hot dogs or screen printing, but it is still our biggest sale of the year. To maintain a safe shopping environment, we will be limiting the number of people physically in the store at any time. Please observe the 6 foot rule of social distancing while in our store. We want every one to have the best chance to get a great deal on their sweet salvage finds, so here are some tips for shopping Second Use and avoiding the crowds:
– **Highly Recommended** Buy over the phone and pick up later. In the month of March, Second Use will be waiving our standard 10% restock fee for phone sales, so buy from the comfort of your home and come pick up on a less hectic day!
– Hold an item over the phone and come in a little later. Holds on Saturday will last for 3 hours. (Usually when we have a large sale, we reduce hold times to 2 hours, but to encourage a more casual atmosphere you’ll have 3 hours from when you hold an item to purchase it.)
– We are offering extended free storage time. This month, after you purchase an item at Second Use, you will have a week to pick it up without storage fees. Please still pick up as soon as your can, to conserve space for people that cannot make it in.
Again, be aware that if there is a large rush at 9am on Saturday, we may not be able to let everyone into the store at once. Calling ahead to hold interesting items is the best practice, but we will be on hand to place holds if you are stuck in a line in the morning.
