Elegant, functional, and simply stunning is how I would describe this brass and mahogany coffee/tea service table from Hong Kong. The brass top is exquisite with intricate engraved details including two elephants in the middle and all along the inner circle of the top. Even more impressive is the mahogany base that completely folds up, I assume to easily put away when tea service was completed. Most likely from the 1960s, based on research and how active Hong Kong furniture merchants were during that time. The details and the functionality make this such a special table that is sure to dazzle at your next tea party!
