Locally milled and kiln dried. This giant slab came from a humongous English Elm tree that was taken down in Capital Hill over ten years ago and has been slowly curing since then. It was recently put into a kin to ensure any critters were nuked. It has checking down the center/bark inclusion and a void on one end. Is very flat for an unsurfaced slab, would lose very little thickness in leveling. Would be a great candidate for some resin river work. Tapers in width from 59" to 46" to 53". Has some nails about 3ft in on the wide end, can be drilled out.
