Antique Colonial Revival Side Table

$ 65.00

An adorable little side table in a colonial revival style. It looks to be made of some species of hardwood (maybe mahogany) with a dark stain and a charming little painting of what seems to be roses and rhododendron flowers. This piece has part of a maker's mark, a paper sticker marking it has having been manufactured by the Robert Mitchell Furniture Co. out of Cincinnati. Mitchell split from the Mitchell & Rammelsburg sometime in the late 19th Century (M&R was founded in 1847, while the earliest reference I could find for RMFC was in April 1898). These details, along with elements of the construction's design, point to this piece being made in the late 1800s to the early 1900s- 1910 at the latest, likely the 1880s at the earliest.
