Vintage 6Ft Two-Man Saw Blade
$ 75.00
72" two-man saw blade, sadly it's missing the original handles, but you should be able to find some replacements without too much difficulty. An iconic member of the logging industry's arsenal of tools. Known colloquially as 'Misery Whips', at the height of their age these saw action in forests across the PNW and are fascinating artifacts from our local history. The tooth pattern on this particular blade is unusual, and falls somewhere between the Great American and Champion tooth patterns: a shallower than usual gullet, with rakers separated by 4 triangular cutters. Perhaps this was designed to be used for crosscutting particularly hardwoods? Whatever it's original use, it would make a great piece of wall art for your cabin, lodge, or retail display!
