Locally milled and kiln dried. Cottonwood is not a wood you find slabbed very often due to the difficulty of drying it. In fact it is such a high moisture wood that you can't even burn it with out air drying for years. When they are cut down most Cottonwood is just chipped. This would make for an amazing live edge table top. There's a small amount of cupping but that should be easy to deal with. The thickness varies from 2 3/4" to 3 1/2", and the width tapers from 33 3/4" to 35" along its length.
