1940s Smoot-Holman Light

A fabulous and uncommon circa 1948 Sight Craft shade from Smoot-Holman Company of Inglewood CA. It has a cream enamel indirect shade with black stripe hangs by three bead chains from a new/old stock base that has been refreshened with new socket and wires. When it's on, the light shines up to reflect from the ceiling for a lovely warm glow. There are a few chips and dings on the enamel, but most 75 years olds have those, and they're quite small so they will go unnoticed. Restored in house. Photo may be representational
