This battery may just be 120 years old. This was made by the Mrs. Pomeroy cosmetics company in London, intended to be used for stimulating the skin and muscles to prevent and remove wrinkles. Mrs. Pomeroy began producing her batteries for individual sale in 1902, and she reportedly offered electrolysis as a service for removing hair- a possible ally queen. We have no option but to stan. Most remarkably, this battery is fully complete. It almost certainly doesn't hold any kind of charge, but it does have the accessories and even a preserved copy of the directions for its use.
