Locally milled and air dried 10+ years. My goodness this species smells amazing. Native to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and Tell Atlas in Algeria. Popular as an ornamental tree in the high class neighborhoods of Seattle in the 1950's/1960's. Very nice dense wood that would make a bar top or long bench project. Tapers in width from 18" to 14". Has some checking and a soft spot on one side, if you planed 3/4" off it would all be gone.... price reflects.
