Locally milled and kiln dried. Native to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and Tell Atlas in Algeria. Popular as an ornamental tree in the high class neighborhoods of Seattle in the 1950s/1960s. Very nice dense wood that would make a great bench or mantel.
