Once you've worked in the salvage biz a while, you can look at a piece and know before you touch it that it's a good quality piece. This vintage twelve arm chandelier gives off that vibe. It just looks and feels like a nice, heavy, good quality piece. The wiring looks newer, which makes me think it's been rewired (but not by our in house Lady of Light). Everything lit right up when I wired it up. This light with it's nice details, could have been made anywhere from the late 30's up through the early 70's. It could have been made anywhere from post-Art Deco, Modern period up to Hollywood Regency and would fit right in any of them. Came from a house in Laurelhurst. Has ~54" of chain above height of fixture listed.
