This vintage door was previously installed upside down, the mortise cassette was painted over, holes were drilled for a handle, and a sliver of the bottom corner is close to falling off. I'm sure whoever did it was doing their best just like the rest of us, but it'll take some work to use as a standard door. It would also make a good shed door or even a headboard!
