Manufactured in 1944 by MANN of Lewistown, PA, this hatchet came to us in good condition. The head has some minor surface rust that a wire wheel would make quick work of. The handle is painted forest green, and it also includes a sweet leather sheath. The axe head is stamped "US MANN 1944".
