Vintage Mining Carbide Lamp

A carbide lamp used by miners, manufactured by the Dewar Mfg. Company, who produced carbide lamps from 1914 through the '30s. The main body is steel construction, with the reflector likely being tin or aluminum. It definitely shows its age, with most of the steel surfaces being heavily rusted over and the tin/aluminum reflector showing some level of corrosion.
