Antique Oil Wick Mining Lamp

An antique of mining history, this lantern has a little hook for stabbing and hanging from helmets or beams in mineshafts. The stem is filled with a wick, while the reservoir is filled with oil. You'd light the wick in the stem, and pull it until it was fully burned away and replace it. This one's got the burnt end of a wick sticking out of it, but who's to say if there's any burn left to it or not.
