Henry Ketting Olivier was an artist known for his landscapes with ties around the world, he was born in Indonesia, studied in the Netherlands and the United States. He was a renowned art teacher for years after emigrating to the US after WWII. This is a wonderful original titled "Checking the Floaters" and depicts some deck hands inspecting the floaters to make sure they are sea worthy.
