Vintage wooden jig used in the milling process for building deck stringers on Willits Brothers canoes, specifically the top angle of the stringers. Yet another small but integral piece of their original processes. This comes from Tacoma's own Willits Brothers Canoe Co. Makers of a highly sought after "double planked" canoe design that was constructed until the mid 60s. Very cool piece of Pierce County industrial, and canoe building history.
