Henry Ketting Olivier was an artist known for his landscapes with ties around the world, he was born in Indonesia, studied in the Netherlands and the United States. He was a renowned art teacher for years after emigrating to the US after WWII. This is an original of his, depicting a beach scene from his native Indonesia in a beautiful wood frame with fabric border surrounding the piece. A great piece from a wonderful artist who was present in the California art scene for a great deal of his life.
