Vladimir Kagan Chromcraft Black Tufted Chair

$ 625.00

Vladimir Kagan was a prestigious furniture designer who spearheaded the MCM "future" movement. He designed furniture for Marilyn Monroe, Gary Cooper, and Walt Disney. These chairs were made in collaboration with Chromcraft and can be seen in two episodes of the original Star Trek! Very special and most likely from 1968, they feature a black vinyl tufted upholstery in a bucket seat sitting atop a metal "V" chevron style base. Tag is very worn but you can make out the words "Chromcraft." Take home a piece of TV and furniture history with this amazing piece!
